Understanding Listed and YANCE Verified Factory Profiles

Learn the distinction between Listed and YANCE Verified profiles, and what factory information can tell you about a sourcing option.

A factory profile is a starting point for reviewing a potential supplier. Its status helps explain the basis on which information is presented. It does not replace the checks needed for a specific product or purchase.

What Listed means

A Listed profile presents reviewed information about a factory's location, products and available capabilities. The profile may include authorised photographs and catalogue-based product descriptions.

Listed does not mean YANCE Verified. Receiving a supplier catalogue or photographs does not automatically create a formal verification record. A Listed factory should not be described as having passed the full YANCE Verified standard when those records are missing.

What YANCE Verified means

YANCE Verified requires the applicable on-site review, supporting evidence and approval process. The standard covers the factory identity and site relationship, production facilities, capacity information, quality-control arrangements, certificates where applicable, and review records.

The designation depends on a complete, approved and current record. A date, a person's name or evidence reference must come from actual review information. Missing details are not filled in to obtain a badge. The current standard uses a 12-calendar-month validity period tied to the visit date.

Read what is actually shown

Check the factory's status first. Then review the products, location, available photographs and any verification information shown. Treat information that is absent as unknown rather than as a negative or positive finding.

Catalogue products show the supplier's stated range; they do not confirm that a particular specification, material or order quantity is currently available. Optional fields such as MOQ and production timing should only be relied on after clarification for your inquiry.

A profile does not certify a product

A factory status does not guarantee that every product meets every destination-market requirement. It does not establish an agreed price, delivery schedule or order contract. Product specifications, samples, quality requirements and applicable assessments still need to be addressed for the purchase you are considering.

Authorised factory photographs help you understand a site or product range, but the presence of an image alone is not proof that a complete verification process has been approved.

Keep procurement communication with YANCE

Factory profiles demonstrate sourcing options. Requests submitted through this website are handled by YANCE. There is no factory account or direct factory enquiry system on the website.

If a profile interests you, use its Request a Quote entry and explain the products, quantities and destination you have in mind. The factory reference accompanies the inquiry so that YANCE can understand which profile you were reviewing.

You can also submit a general request when you have not selected a factory. Discuss your sourcing requirements with YANCE.
